New Ships On The Horizon

 NCL - Norwegian Epic
Passengers: 4200 Debut: May 2010 Highlights: At 153,000 tonnes she will feature mould-breaking accommodations from new contemporary Studios to private Villas.  RCI - Allure Of The Seas
Passengers: 5400 Debut: November 2010 Highlights: At 220,000 tons and sister ship to Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas will span 16 decks and feature the cruise line’s new neighbourhood concept, seven themed areas throughout the ship, including the first amphitheatre at sea. Destinations: Sailing alternating seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Ft. Lauderdale starting 12 December 2010.  Holland America Line - Nieuw Amsterdam
Passengers: 2,106 Debut: Jul 2010 Highlights: As part of the fleet's new Signature class of ships, innovations include the Pan-Asian Tamarind restaurant, an Italian speciality restaurant and a redesigned atrium and show lounge. Eighty-six percent of the cabins are on the outside, and 67% have balconies. Destinations: The Mediterranean during the summer months and then heading over to the Caribbean from autumn. Who it's suitable for: Guests seeking luxurious accommodations, more enticing destinations, enhanced dining experiences, more creative activities & even higher levels of service. |
RCI - Oasis Of The Seas
Passengers: 5400 Debut: Late 2009 Highlights: Oasis Of The Seas will be the largest and most revolutionary cruise ship in the world. An architectural marvel at sea, she will span 16 decks, encompasses 220,000 GRT, and feature 2,700 staterooms, plus Central Park, a revolutionary design in which the center of the ship opens to the sky and features tropical grounds spanning the length of a football field.  Cunard - Queen Elizabeth
Passengers: 2.092 Debut: Autumn 2010 Highlights: Queen Elizabeth will offer the very best of Cunard’s values and traditions, blended with every conceivable modern luxury that today's discerning travellers expect.  P&O Cruises - Azura
Passengers: 3,076 Debut: Spring 2010 Highlights: Externally, the vessel will be similar to P&O Cruises Ventura, which entered service in spring 2008, but the new product features superb interior design and returns to P&O signature high quality cruising in the vein of Oriana and Aurora. Destinations: The ship will be sailing from her home port of Southampton. Who it's suitable for: Lovers of P&O Cruises' distinct British style of cruising with quality modern facilities. |
 Seabourn - Sojourn
Passengers: 450 Debut: Summer 2010 Highlights: At 32,000 tonnes she will accommodate just 450 guests in 225 luxury suites, ninety percent of which will offer private balconies. Destinations: Debut cruise will depart from Greenwich, London. Who it's suitable for: Designed for those who appreciate the yacht-like onboard ambience and all-inclusive policies such as complimentary open bars, open-seating dining and a myriad of thoughtful touches. |
