First was the announcement of Top Sales Consultant, which was based on cumulative sales figures for 2009. This award was won by Yvonne Lowbridge (pictured right) who has been with Bolsover Cruise Club for over eight years. During this time Yvonne has built up an impressive client base of members who book with her year after year.
Reservations Manager, Michelle Gannon said of the award “Yvonne represents everything that Bolsover Cruise Club stands for. In terms of her commitment to her customers, it is with no surprise that she is our Top Sales Consultant. Over the years she has worked tirelessly to meet the requirements of our clients, many of whom will insist upon her looking after their bookings. Yvonne is a great role model to our newer members of staff, who should aspire to her levels of service”
Next came the award for Most Improved Member of Staff. The recipient of this award was decided upon by the deliberations of the Directors and Management of the company, and was awarded to Sam Webster (pictured centre). Sam joined Bolsover Cruise Club in July 2008 and had come from a high street travel agency background. With the benefit of Bolsover Cruise Clubs' extensive training programme she has become one of the most capable members of staff in the company.
Team Leader Sharon is delighted Sam has won this accolade. “ She is without doubt an amazing attribute to my team. In the eighteen months since she joined Sam has learned what cruising is all about and her levels of service are of the highest order. Her success is not only a tribute to the intensive training that all our new recruits receive, but her charismatic personality and determination combine to provide our clients with the very best service that they have come to expect from us.”
Last but certainly not least, Christine Green (pictured left) was the proud recipient of our Non-Sales Staff Member Of The Year, which is an endearing award as it is decided upon by fellow colleagues. Working within our Sales Support Team, many of you may recognise Christine as a friendly face on our reception desk welcoming personal visitors to our state-of-the-art Cruise Bureau. Christine also undertakes numerous other duties to assist with the smooth running of our office, and it's her friendly nature and commitment that has won her this award.
Administration Manager, Wayne Shutt commented ''Christine is absolutely the right recipient of this award. She has been with us for nearly four years and her hard work and commitment has been exemplary. She is very popular with all members of staff and regular customers alike, I am delighted that her loyalty has been recognised by her colleagues in this way.”
